The Economic Times Leaders Challenge Tour

Report on the 3rd leg held at Bangalore On 15th April 2007
The ET Leaders Challenge Tour has been making waves all over the country. The 3rd leg was held at the fabulous Eagleton Golf Resort, Bangalore on 14th April. The overnight showers had made the course in excellent shape, soft greens and Typical Bangalore weather. Sunny but pleasant made for some excellent scoring. As usual some holes had special prizes for each 4 ball group. Closest to the pin with hockey stick shots! Yes no kidding, it was great fun. straightest drive and putting competitions.
As usual the cream of the Bangalore Golfing community and the leaders had an excellent morning of golf playing with their contemporaries. The evening prize distribution and the party was very well attended and went on into the wee hours.
The chief guest of the morning was Bollywood Actor Alisha who did the customary putt signifying the start of the tournament.
The field included names like Kishore Rao, director 3M India; V.Shashikant, CEO UB Global; C.P.Murali, VP Aricent Technologies; T.V.Mohan, pres. TVS Tyres; Dujardin Carl, CEO XSYSYS; Joseph Andrade, MD Lyosea Ltd; Dev Anand ,MD Tech Wizz Corp., V.S. Radhakrishnan, Regl Ceo Ing Vysya Bank.
David D’Sousa with 39 points won the individual 0-14 category. Rajeev Ahuja won the 15-24 category. The Team Prize was won by Sandeep Malhan and V. Shashikant. The runner up in 2nd spot were Udit Chanchani & Narayan Bhat. 3rd place went to Sharan Laxmanan & C.S. Murali.
The winners will be going to an exotic destination in December along with other regional winners, all 40 of them to win the Grand Prize that awaits them. The next Leg is in Chennai on 15th September and the Calcutta Leg in October.
